This book gave my awareness a boost sort of like a resuscitation jump-starts back to life. Once you pick it up you have to finish it. It’s not a reference book “so to speak” so ideally you don’t want to keep picking it up and putting it back down. Just take your time and read it from front to back. It will begin to shift your perspective. Here are a few lessons from the book I’ve learned and have experienced:

  1. The Universe is conspiring in your favor.
  2. Pay attention to the signs, they are always there.
  3. When you make a decision, an entire current begins is activated and changes everything in order to support the decision.
  4. Humble yourself to a higher universal language

1. The Universe is conspiring in your favor.

Even if you don’t think so, the Universe is always responding and working with you. Every decision I made in love was supported. Love is the highest frequency and it’s the language that heals us. When we move in this way and not just from a logical left brain way if that’s been your way then we see a different movement.

2. Pay attention to the signs, they are always there.

The signs are there and are usually hidden in plain sight whether we want to acknowledge it or not. They’re there. For those who experience synchronicity regularly, you know exactly what I speaking of. Synchronicity is when things occur at the exact same time from different places. Have you ever been thinking something while you are randomly watching tv or surfing the net and you hear the same word at the same time you are thinking about it?

That’s synchronicity.

3. When you make a decision, this activates a current within and everything begins to change in order to support the decision.

Everything is in motion. The law of Vibrations supports this. Nothing rests; everything moves; everything vibrates. So even on an unconscious level, when you decide to take action you move differently. Nothing stays the same.

4. Humble yourself to higher Universal language.

There’s ancient text scribed many years ago and have been lost over time. I had to learn to humble myself to think.

Rapsody JAMLA Records, ROC Nation

 “Love and Soul of HipHop”

I had the chance to catch up with Rapsody to let her know I’m proud of her

Jay Z, Lauryn Hill, MCLyte, Queen Latifah, Nas, Biggie are some of the legends in the industry that has inspired a young Rapsody to begin rhyming. She has always had some type of musical influence around her. And so like many other passionate artists, if there was no love present, she wouldn’t be doing it. One thing I admire deeply about our girl Rapsody is her social consciousness of carrying the crown in this game. It’s more than just hip-hop, it’s a responsibility to teach and she shares that theory by being a role model and inspire lots of youth in her community.

You remember the saying, if you stay ready you never have to get ready? Well, Rapsody saw her chance and took the shot by taking her passion to the next level through connecting with the one and only musical genius (respectively) 9th Wonder at North Carolina State University. She expressed her interest in wanting to join his team and it was history from there. Rapsody has been.
